CRIMSON FALLS Prepares To Record New Album

September 18, 2008

Belgian deathcore pride CRIMSON FALLS will enter CCR Studio (ABORTED, IN-QUEST, LENG TCH'E, BETZEFER, KRONOS) in September/October to begin recording its second full-length CD, tentatively entitled "Fragments Of Awareness". The follow-up to "The True Face Of Human Nature" (Shiver Records, 2006) will contain "11 devastating songs showing a mature and evolved band," according to a press release. "Expect faster songs, more brutal than ever before but also more melodies and progressive arrangements." The artwork will be created by Avernus Studios. An early 2009 release is expected.

Prior to the release of the new full-length abum, CRIMSON FALLS will issue "The Dead" EP on November 29. The four-song concept effort will be built around the songs "In Flanders Fields" and "We Are The Dead" and the theme of the First World War. The EP will also include a Dutch version of "In Flanders Fields" ("In Vlaanderens Velden") and one brand new song, "Cordoba".
